pains and there is this cramps that's killing its helps when I breath in and out
Is that normal
Hi Qhama. Thanks for sharing your comment. We know that period pain can be terrible. Your body aches, you feel extra tired, and your insides feel all mushed up and uncomfortable. What's a girl to do?! When we workout our bodies produce a pain relief hormone that helps burn chemicals that cause muscle contractions. Try some jumping jacks at home. A nice hot bath can ease cramping. Remember that everything that happens to our bodies when we get our period is normal! However, if you feel something isn't right then talk to a trusted adult such as parent or doctor they will be able to advise you.

Hi ladies 🌻
I'm using a weight loss seed and 1 of the side effects is that my period will be affected. I haven't gotten my period for 54 days now and my breast and underarms are feeling painful and lumpy.
What should I do please help?
Hi Kaylatjie. Thanks for your sharing your comment. I'd imagine you're still very young so I don't think weight loss pills are the best or first option you should take to dropping some kg's. I'd recommend you come off those pills as they have already begun to impact your body negatively. It would be better to start a weigh loss regime that's consistent and healthier. Try exercising regularly, changing your diet and eating better, hydrating can also assist with weight loss. You should see you period return when you come off the pills you're taking but if not I'd recommend you visit your nearest clinic or doctor for a professional medical opinion.
Hey guys i've had my period for over a year now and i still havent told any of my best friends can u help me,what should i do ?
Hi JLB.Kween. Having your period isn't something to be ashamed of but rather a natural part of life. You aren't obligated to share this information but it's not something you need to hide.
Hey I have period pain too when I sit down for hours my tummy start period pain even I've stand more 1hours or 5minute my period pain start to hurt. I DON'T KNOW WHAT IM GOING TO DO TO AVOID PERIOD PAIN PLZ HELP.!!
Hi Springster. Exercise helps. When we workout our bodies produce a pain relief hormone that helps burn chemicals that cause muscle contractions. A nice hot bath will remove excess sweat and oil from your skin, calm your nerves, and even ease cramping. If you're still experiencing pain then visit your nearest chemist for Nurofen or pain relievers for period pain to make it a bit more bearable.
hey I'm having period pains.I can't even stand then it feels like I'm going to fall...can ii get advise on this one...
Hey Springster. Thanks for your comment. Period pain can be draining and many girls experience this especially at the beginning of their menstrual cycle. I'd advise you visit your nearest doctor or clinic for a professional medical opinion and methods for easing the pain you've been experiencing.
Breath in and out it helps by me
Hey... I've been having period pains from the get go and they're getting worse day by day... I've tried everthing but all my methods seem to be hopeless... My menstruation cycle isn't even stable... I really don't know what to do anymore 😭
Hey Springster. Thanks for your comment. Period pain can be draining and many girls experience this especially at the beginning of their menstrual cycle. You mentioned that the pain has worsened, that your pain relief methods aren't helping and that your cycle is irregular. What you're describing sounds like endometriosis, a condition resulting from the appearance of endometrial tissue outside the uterus and causing pelvic pain, especially associated with menstruation. Don't panic! I'd advise you visit your nearest doctor or clinic for a professional medical opinion and methods for easing the pain you've been experiencing.
Hey. I got my first period when I was 12 now am 16 I had period pains then but since this year they have been worse I vomit every time and I sleep alot and everything annoys me during my periods and the worse thing is that they are irregular. What is the problem?
Hi Springster. The symptoms you've described sound like premenstrual syndrome. Nausea, irritability and fatigue are just some of the symptoms. Actually, most women will experience irregular bleeding at some point in their life. A period showing up unexpected or delayed does not always mean something serious is going on. But your period showing up whenever it wants can be stressful. Your period may show up earlier than expected, or not show up at all. Here are the most common causes that can cause a delayed or early period thus causing an irregular menstrual cycle: – Medication – Stress and anxiety – Puberty ( When teens first start having periods, their menstrual cycles may not always be on the same schedule every month.) – Extreme exercise or dieting – Hormonal birth control such as contraceptive pills or emergency contraception – Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) ( This medical condition causes tiny cysts to form on ovaries, interfering with regular ovulation) You should consult a doctor or your nearest clinic if you have missed a period and have reason to believe that you might be pregnant.
is it true that lending clothes from other people can cause stomach cramps when you are in periods?
Hi Springster. No that isn't true.
Did you know that eating food with too much salt can cause cramps .You would rather eat nuts or Dark chocolate they can ease the cramps especially nuts because they contain vitamins. And dont forget to drink at least warm water it helps to ease the cramps
why others be moody when in periods?
well I always be moody.. not eating even talking to anyone
Premenstrual syndrome, or PMS, describes symptoms a woman may have a few days before her menstrual cycle, including tender breasts, bloating, cramps, mood swings, and headaches. For many women, the worst part of PMS is its unpredictable impact on mood. Irritability, anger, crying spells, depression, and anxiety may come and go in the days leading up to your period. Some women even have trouble with memory and concentration during this time.
hy...last during my first day of my periods I had this terrible period pains i took a bath 3 times a day bt thy didn't go away I changed I pad every after 4 hours but it didn't go away than at the night it was even worse I was up all night I sleep around 3h00am and it was 4 the first time I had period pains like this but the following day it was better so if I must is this also normal ,is there any problem with me??
Hi Springster. You're not alone. Many girls experience what you felt at that time of the month. There is nothing wrong with you, it is completely normal. you can get over the counter meds at the pharmacists to assist with pain management. It’s easy to forget that menstruation isn’t just a monthly pain – it’s an essential component of the human reproductive cycle. Without periods, life would quite simply cease to exist. So next time you are in the fetal position nursing some particularly bad cramps, try to draw comfort from the fact that you are a vital part of the circle of life.
