Feel frustrated about your dreams?

These tips can help!

Your thoughts (61) Feel frustrated about your dreams?

Hey girl! Think about this – When you plant a seed in the ground it doesn’t grow overnight. Depending on what you’ve planted it can take weeks, months or even years before you see anything! And even when you’ve planted something you can’t just put it in the ground and walk away. You have to put in the work, watering the seeds to make sure the soil has enough nutrients for it to grow.

Doesn’t this sound similar to our dreams? Your dreams are like seeds, but instead of planting them in the ground they are planted within you. We all have seeds of greatness within us. No matter who you are or where you’ve come from there is greatness within you.

Now you might be thinking – I have loads of dreams but when will they ever come true?

Just like the seeds in the ground, there’s a waiting period between when you decide to follow your dreams and when you see some progress. That period of waiting can be tricky, but here are some steps to help you navigate it.

1. Embrace the journey

Remember that life is a long journey not a short race. Greatness isn’t made overnight and neither are your dreams. Good things take time, so be patient with your growth. Slow progress IS STILL progress.

2. Enjoy the journey

When you spend time thinking of all the amazing things you want to achieve in the future, everyday life can seem pretty boring. The key to happiness is to spend your days doing what you love. Make sure you schedule in fun activities like hanging out with friends or trying new hobbies.

3. Reflect during the journey

As your seed is growing it will go through many seasons. There will be sunshine but there’ll also be rainy days. There’ll be good days, and there’ll be bad days when it feels like you’re not making progress but that doesn’t mean you should stop dreaming. Taking a moment to pause and reflect can remind you of how far you’ve come and gives you the motivation you need to keep going.
